Vigis is an AI-powered compliance information tool that helps small businesses identify federal and state regulations that may be relevant to their operations. Vigis provides compliance information for educational and informational purposes only.
Vigis is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by your use of Vigis. You should always consult a licensed attorney for advice specific to your legal situation. Regulatory requirements change frequently, and Vigis makes no guarantee that the information provided is complete, current, or applicable to your specific circumstances.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep that information up to date.
You may not share your account with others or use Vigis for any purpose not expressly permitted by these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in bad faith.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing date until you cancel. All fees are stated in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as expressly stated in our refund policy.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until that date. Free trial users who cancel before the trial ends will not be charged. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to subscribers.
You agree to use Vigis only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use Vigis to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party; (c) transmit any harmful, offensive, or misleading content; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its underlying systems; (e) resell, sublicense, or redistribute Vigis outputs without our prior written consent; or (f) use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform at scale.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any compliance information will be accurate, complete, or current.
Compliance information generated by Vigis is produced by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated regulatory references. It is your responsibility to verify any compliance obligations with qualified legal counsel before taking or refraining from any action.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, VIGIS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR REGULATORY FINES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be subject to informal resolution by contacting us at legal@vigis.app. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with proceedings conducted in English.
You and Vigis agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class or representative proceeding.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are material, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of Vigis after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
